Queens Lake Middle School presents Connection Counts: Reimagining School through Community Schools Programming highlighting how the school is implementing the Virginia Department of Education’s Community Schools model to strengthen student connectedness and engagement. Staff and students will share how expanded extracurricular opportunities, content-related field experiences, and intentional community partnerships contribute to improved student outcomes. This presentation underscores the school’s commitment to fostering meaningful relationships and supportive learning environments that promote student success.

QLMS will be hold the induction ceremony for National Junior Honor Society on March 16 in the cafetorium at 6:30pm.

QLMS Spring Picture Day is Monday, March 30, 2026. Individual portraits will be taken. Wear solid, bright colors to enhance your portraits. Only those students who prepay for pictures will have an individual post taken. Visit www.candidcolor.net and enter code "QLMSPRING26". Follow the onscreen instructions. Additional backgrounds are available online.
